3.0 Lite Wallet

The blue & black aluminum lite 3.0 wallet was a great color choice and I really like the design. Now the negative, by the time I had 10 embossed cards in the wallet, I was afraid of forcing any more cards in for fear of damaging the card (inside measurement 6/16 inch at that point). So I made a couple wedges with my band saw and with a wedge on either end forced the wallet open to 3/4 inch or maybe a bit more and let it set for a week. By then, the rubber bands had stretched enough that I was easily able to put two more cards in and have enough room to easily “fan” them to find the card I wanted. I quickly figured out it was best to arrange the cards so that the ones frequently used should be on top of the stack while things like my rarely used insurance card were on the bottom of the stack. To tell you the truth, if the bands hadn’t stretched adequately, I was going to return the wallet to EOS and get one of the competitors with a single wide band around the center of the wallet. They don’t look as cool but they work on Day One. But with a little ingenuity, the EOS wallet was made workable and it now functions great and looks amazing.
